Old Scrolls chronicles the formation of the 1st and 2nd Ranger Battalions all the way through the period encompassing Operation Urgent Fury and just beyond.
Muccia and Greer provide rich, detailed accounts on the evolution of both Battalions' missions, the development of tactics, techniques and procedures that eventually became the those of the modern Ranger battalions, and a liberal dose of 'forbidden Ranger tales'.
