Dear Joe,

I want to let you know that Dad, Al Mampre, has the greatest respect for you and your thorough coverage of WWII history, particularly of the 101st Airborne, 506, Easy Company. He says to say, Currahee!

"Thank you for being our Easy Company historian. Your input was invaluable. Hang Tough!"

"Thank you for your meticulous read of the manuscript and for having a better understanding of this group of men than perhaps anyone else on earth."

This is an important site (Grenada Veterans Facebook page). It will contain much more and better history than any book-EXCEPTION whatever GySgt Muccia writes........

“

Thank you for all your help with this book (Last Stop Before Destiny). I could not have done it without you.

Re: The Path of Easy Company Tour

There’s literally nothing you guys could’ve done to improve on our BoB trip last fall. Our tour experience with ya’ll was life changing. And total perfection.

Re: The Path of Easy Company Tour

You can’t imagine how much we learned about the war and this amazing group of soldiers made famous by Stephen Ambrose’s book, The Band of Brothers, and the HBO series of the same name. Our tour guides, David Campbell, and Joe Muccia, made sure that every moment was memorable, and that included many extraordinary culinary experiences. Their depth of knowledge is truly unsurpassed, yes, truly unsurpassed. And that includes specific and personal acquaintances with Band of Brothers troop members, and HBO producers, military history, WWI, WWII, European history, culture, cuisine, languages. Their sense of fun added to our adventures in countless ways. We were on a lifetime adventure together, the 8 of us, traveling together in a van following the path of the Band of Brothers.

Re: The Path of Easy Company Tour

You will not regret going on this very informative and history based tour of the East Company WW2 group. We went last year, and still talk about it with everyone. Joe is a fantastic tour guide and jam packed with information, pictures, battle maps and details about the Band of Brothers fighting members. It will be worth every penny spent to go on this tour with Joe!

Re: The Path of Easy Company Tour

Joe Muccia and David Campbell were the greatest of tour guides, Joe with his encyclopedic knowledge of all things Easy Company related and the relationships that he had with the Easy Company veterans provided the kind of intimate anecdotes and history of the unit that other tours could only hope to aspire to. As vast as Joe's knowledge of Easy Company is, David is on par with the restaurant, hotels and culture knowledge. We stayed and ate at some of the most amazing places that were off of the tourist path. We soon learned to just trust him as we were wondering where in the heck he was taking us.

This trip was definitely the trip of a lifetime and exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. Made new friends, learned so much more about the men of Easy Company than you could learn from just the mini series or the book. First time to Europe, 7 countries in 16 days and I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

I cannot recommend a better group to do a tour of this nature with than Joe and David.

Re: The Path of Easy Company Tour

I took this tour with Joe Muccia leading the way in 2019. I highly recommend him! When we were Brecourt Manor, Joe introduced us to Mr. Charlie de Vallevielle. He was working on his property and immediately stopped to talk and walked with us to unlock the gate so we could walk to the exact location of the famous gun position Winters men took out. There are 100’s of perks to this tour that others do not have. You will enjoy every moment!

Re: The Grenada Gold Star Family Tour

Joe Muccia your ability to find all of our “spots” and give us individualized accounts of what happened made all the difference. I will forever be grateful you were on this trip!
