*** Joe was interviewed on 3 August, 2023 by the Washington Post for their 40th Anniversary of Operation Urgent Fury perspective. Elements of that interview were used to inform their multi-episode podcast on the death of Maurice Bishop. That pod series can be found here.***

***Joe has agreed to support the National Ranger Association's Black & Tan link-up, as well at the US Army Best Ranger Competition (BRC). Joe will have a signing event in support of the BRC in April, 2024.***

 

***Joe is currently writing a follow-up book to Cry Havoc! titled "Old Scrolls" which tells the story of Rangers serving in the 1st and 2nd Ranger Battalions in the late 70's and early 80's. This period was critical to the development of the modern Rangers and the 75th Ranger Regiment.***

***In October 2023, Joe attended the 40th Anniversary of Urgent Fury Reunion in Savannah, GA.***

***Joe is finishing his work on The Complete, Unabridged History of Easy Company: Volume 1 - "Jump to the Fight", and anticipates an early 2024 release. "Jump to the Fight" was the theme of one of the recruiting posters that enticed Burton “Pat” Christenson to try out for the paratroops. This eventually led him to Toccoa and Easy Company. “Jump to the Fight” will cover the formation of Easy at Toccoa and follow them through all their training, right up until D-Day. More information to come!***
